Edo Xpo: Title Design
In 2020, I spent 2 weeks refining my styleframes and title design skills with the master himself, Zaoeyo.
I worked on character illustrations and developed style frames for the title sequence I later animated.
Concept
For this particular study, I wanted to create something different. I imagined an exhibit at Louvre Museum about the Edo time period. I wanted to create something that would feel epic, something that bring the interest of the viewers into learning more about the event.
Challenges
I've been crafting my workflow for a lot of years, and this project took it two steps forward. By learning the workflow of Zaoeyo, I challenged myself to create a hybrid between Zaoeyo's workflow and mine. Doing so, I saw a good improvement in different aspects of my work.
